Voluntary work

With your volunteer work you support us in our educational and public relations work and/or in our checkpoint.

They should enjoy contact and communication with people and have an interest in HIV and sexual health issues.

The amount of time you spend depends entirely on your personal possibilities and the tasks you are given.

We offer professional guidance and support and always provide opportunities to meet the other volunteers and many training opportunities.

Our goals are:

  • Education to prevent new infections with HIV and other STIs
  • Enlighten to counter unfounded fears
  • Educate to reduce discrimination

At checkpoint, our full-time team is always supported by volunteers.

Usually our volunteers have one assignment per month at the checkpoint.

Our goals are:

  • Testing to detect HIV infections so that therapy can be started in time.
  • Testing so that nobody has to suffer from AIDS anymore.
  • Testing to identify STI so they can be treated.

Everyone is welcome who identifies with our mission statement. We look forward to hearing from you!
