Workshop "HIV and Mental Health" on 15 June 2019

Many people with HIV experience stigmatisation and discrimination in their daily lives. They experience this in their social environment, at work and above all in the health sector. Despite efficient antiretroviral therapy, people with HIV are often unable to lead a normal social life. Many retire and live in isolation. The consequences can be psychological problems such as depression and anxiety.

With this workshop we would like to give those affected the opportunity to deal with their experiences of stigmatisation and discrimination and to develop strategies to protect themselves against them.
